Chamisa Speaks On The Future Of Zimbabwe

MDC Alliance president, advocate Nelson Chamisa has promised a better Zimbabwe for all citizens across the country stressing that when the future comes every economic, social and political problems will be resolved.

The opposition leader sentiments came after Zimbabwe is battling economic challenges which have resulted in the continuous increase of exchange rates and prices of basic commodities.

Posting on his twitter handle, the MDC Alliance leader stressed that there was still hope for all the economic, social and political problems to be a thing of the past if Zimbabweans remain steadfast.

“I have a dream and this extraordinary fixity of purpose to turn Our Zimbabwe into a place of stardom, greatness, excellence and best standards in every dimension. I’m vibrating and ready!! A New Great Zimbabwe is loading,” he said.

He also promised Zimbabweans that he will improve the transport problems which the country is currently facing if he is elected in the coming elections to become the president of Zimbabwe.

“As the NEXT government, delivering safe, affordable, reliable, clean smart public and private transportation is something we are preparing for. Our policies aim to unlock investment into electric vehicles(including ZUPCO buses) and key infrastructure like charging stations and good roads,” added Chamisa.

Meanwhile, the government in the past tried to address transport deficit across the country by increasing the number of ZUPCO buses as well as merging with National Railways of Zimbabwe {NRZ} but the transport problem still remains a problem.

In the past weeks the MDC Alliance also alleged that the political landscape across the country was not favorable.

Reports are that when Chamisa was carrying out his rural tours in recent weeks which was meant to mobilise support in the upcoming 2023 elections, he was attacked by Zanu Pf supporters in Masvingo as well as in Manicaland province.

However Zanu Pf denounced these sentiments stressing that Chamisa was trying to disturb the peace which was prevailing in the country.
