Reported deaths in Africa reached 231,696 and 8,956,721 people have recovered.
South Africa has the most reported cases 3,528,463 and 92,530 people died.
Other most affected countries are Morocco ( 1,004,706 ), Tunisia ( 744,967 ), Ethiopia ( 446,268 ), Libya ( 393,983 ) Egypt ( 393,808 ) and Kenya ( 312,572 )

The numbers are compiled by the Center for Systems Science and Engineering (CSSE) at Johns Hopkins University world map using statistics from the World Health Organization and other international institutions as well as national and regional public health departments.
