The Zimbabwe Electricity Distribution Company (ZETDC) a subsidiary of the Zimbabwe Electricity Supply Authority (ZESA) says there are some parts in Harare and Bindura experiencing power outages today.
In a statement, ZETDC informed Harare and Bindura electricity consumers that the outage emanated from an underground cable fault.
ZETDC said “the Zimbabwe Electricity Transmission and Distribution Company (ZETDC) would like to apologize to its valued customers in Harare Region for a power outage due to an underground cable fault.”
“Areas Affected: Panther Close, St Patrick’s Road, Jongwe Corner Rockwood Road, Clive Road, Verona Road, Seke Road, and the surrounding areas.”
ZETDC also revealed areas which will experience the outage in Bindura.
“Areas Affected: Bindura Cbd, Fredda Rebecca, Timsite, Bindura Hospital, FSG, ZEGu, Bindura University campuses, Chipadze, Chiwaridzo, Low Density, Manhenga, Matepatepa, Chidembo, Avoca, Radco,Danmglass, Pasango, Piedmont, Cleverhill, Craigside, Kunatsa, Madziva Water Works, and the surrounding areas,” reads the statement.
