Zimbabwe’s second largest mobile network, Netone is set to increase its data and SMS bundle tariffs tomorrow.
The development comes after the telecommunications giant last increased data and SMS bundles tariff on April 7.
Posting on its Twitter handle the company said, “Dear valued Customer, be advised that we are reviewing our tariffs with effect from Wednesday 26 April 2023.’’
NetOne is the first cellular network operator in Zimbabwe based on Global System for Mobile Communications (GSM). The company was launched with 500 lines during the World Solar Summit in September 1996 in Harare.
The company which is wholly owned by government, was formed as a subsidiary of the Posts and Telecommunications Corporation (PTC) in 1996.
