Zimbabwe has delivered 50 more Zupco buses from China in a bid to improve the transport sector which was already in short of buses.
Posting on his twitter handle, secretary in the Ministry of Information Mr Nick Mangwana said the Zupco transportation has helped to improve sanity in the transport sector.
“Zimbabwe has taken delivery of 50 more buses from China to boost Zupco fleet. In the last 12 months, Government imported over 300 buses from China and Belarus which has helped to restore sanity in the public transport sect” Nick Mangwana. He tweeted.
It has been a struggle for commuters to travel with the Zupco transportation as there was already a shortage in the vehicles resulting to people waiting for long hours at the bus station.
