High Density Suburbs On WASH Programs

Harare City Council has provided Water Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) programs to high density suburbs in Harare. The equipment was donated by a Germany company called welt hunger hilfe.

The equipment is operated using the leg, with no hand contact and is meant to avoid the spread of diseases. It is available for the general public.

These photos were shot at Glenview 1 shops and this lady is demonstrating how it is used.

To the left in a bottle is hand sanitiser, and to the right in a green bucket is fresh water
