ZANU PF To Hold Anti Sanctions Gala.

The ruling party ZANU PF will be holding a #SanctionsMustGo gala in Bulawayo so as to try and free Zimbabwe from sanctions by the western countries.

Posting on the party’s twitter handle, ZANU PF’s spokesperson, Patrick Chinamasa said the anti sanctions gala will be held virtually tomorrow in Bulawayo.

“A virtual Anti Sanctions Gala will be held from 6pm on 24 October till 6am on the 25th of October 2020 at Rainbow Towers Hotel in Bulawayo,” he said.

Meanwhile, the ZANU PF party on Wednesday posted on twitter, President Emmerson Mnangagwa’s speech on sanctions.

President Mnangagwa said, Sanctions are a breach of international law and compromise Zimbabwe’s capacity to implement and achieve sustainable development.

“Recently, the united nations secretary general, the high commissioner for human rights…

“Acknowledged all theĀ  effects of the illegal economic sanctions on our country. These are a breech on international law and compromiseĀ  Zimbabwe’s capacity to implement and achieve sustainable development especially SDGs 2389 and 17,

“We therefore call on the general assembly to strongly pronounce itself against these illegal sanctions on Zimbabwe.” He said. He said.

Meanwhile, Permanent secretary in the Ministry of Information, Nick Mangwana posted on his twitter handle that the removal of sanctions will see Zimbabwe thriving.

“Infrastructure and industry are being developed right across Zimbabwe. With the removal of sanctions, we could accelerate this development and see Zimbabwe truly thrive.” He said.
