Three unknown men reportedly robbed a Harare man, a total of USD50, clothes and cellphones, at Chisipite Roundabout along ED Mnangagwa Road.

According to a report made to the police, the complainant, Michael Millar (32), was driving his vehicle along ED Mnangagwa Road on 16 July when three armed robbers allegedly blocked his vehicle. The trio allegedly took cash and other valuables, which had a total of USD2 000.
Zimbabwe Republic Police Provincial (ZRP) spokesperson for Harare, Luckmore Chakanza, confirmed the incident.
“On 16 July 2023 at around 0030 hours, the complainant was driving his vehicle, a silver Toyota Vigo, registration number not supplied along ED Mnangagwa road. When he reached Chisipite Roundabout, a black Honda Fit, registration number not captured, blocked his way and he stopped.
“Three unknown male adults disembarked from the vehicle and approached the complainant. One of them was armed with an unidentified pistol. They ordered the complainant to unlock the passenger door and he complied. One of the accused entered the vehicle and took cash US$50-00, iPhone 11 cellphone, iPhone 14 cellphone, watch, shoes and a jacket. The accused then got in their vehicle and drove away. Total value stolen is US$2 000-00,” said Chakanza.
