Students from different Polytechnic colleges and Universities have come together and produced an interesting local drama series called “Love and Blood.”
It is likely to be on air in December this year.
The project comes after President Emmerson Mnangagwa’s call that tertiary education needs to be centered on practical and innovative ideas rather than basing on theoretical approaches.
“Love and Blood” series will also be another students production which will come after Wadiwa Wepamoyo series Drama which was also a production of university students.
In an interview with 263Times, Love and Blood Producer, Mr Pride Ngonidzashe Mutarangani said the series will target all audiences as well as address other social issues found in communities.
“The series is centered on everyone it does not segregate although there are some other themes that are adult centered hence kids will not be able to follow them.
“However adults will find the themes relatable because they tackle a lot of social issues. In the series we address a lot of things that is corruption, discrimination, drug abuse and religion and these are themes that are there for everyone,” he said.
Meanwhile, Mutarangani assured viewers that the series will likely feature on national television and streaming platforms soon, however he insisted that those who want to watch it will have to go on YouTube.
Love and Blood is a story that explores a single family and different characters. It also focuses on the parents and the children, each and everyone how they struggle in their individual lives and how it affects the whole family.
